Aquapella Quartet

One of the opportunities available to members of the chorus is to sing in a quartet. Currently, Top Of The Falls Chorus has one performing quartet, Aquapella. The quartet performs along with the chorus at most chorus appearances and also performs on its own by invitation. 

Chorus director, Michelle Payton, puts the twinkle on top of the 4 part harmony by singing the tenor part. Our “perfect pitch” tenor keeps the rest of the group on their notes and toes. In her “day job” Michelle is the manager of The Bride’s Shoppe. Cathy Bourne assumes the lead part in this foursome. Cathy is an accomplished musician who gives private lessons in voice, violin, and piano. She plays violin in the Great Falls Symphony and sings with Bachanalia. Jan Olson provides the rich bass and the humor. In her real life, Jan is a contractor with the 341st Communications Squadron at Malmstrom AFB and teaches health and safety classes for the American Red Cross. Jan is also the current president of the chorus. Newest member to the group is retired teacher Jackie Lohman on the baritone part. Jackie joined Top Of The Falls just two years ago and took over baritone duties in Aquapella less than a year ago. When the weather permits, you’ll likely find Jackie on the golf course.
